Actors Who Died Before Thirty

The sudden and tragic death of Academy Award-nominated actor Heath Ledger is the latest in a long line of actors who have passed away at the prime of their life. Shocking as Ledger’s death may be, it isn’t the first time a well-known actor died before they even reached the age of 30, and, with the unpredictable nature of death, certainly wouldn’t be the last.
Here is some of them:

1. James Dean
February 8, 1931 – September 30, 1955
Killed in a car accident at age 24.



2. Sharon Tate
January 24, 1943 – August 9, 1969
Murdered by members of Charles Manson's "Family" at age 26



3. Freddie Prinze
June 22, 1954 – January 29, 1977
Committed suicide by shooting himself in the head at age 22.



4. Rebecca Schaeffer
November 6, 1967 – July 18, 1989
Murdered by stalker Robert John Bardo at age 21



5. Brandon Lee
February 1, 1965 – March 31, 1993
Died at age 28 in an accidental shooting on the set of his last movie “The Crow”



6. River Phoenix
August 23, 1970 – October 31, 1993
Died of a heroine and cocaine overdose at age 23.



7. David Strickland
October 14, 1969 – March 22, 1999
Committed suicide by hanging himself with a bed sheet at age 29.



8. Aaliyah
January 16, 1979 – August 25, 2001
Died in a plane crash at age 22.



9. Jonathan Brandis
April 13, 1976 – November 12, 2003
Committed suicide by hanging at age 27



1. Brad Renfro
July 25, 1982 – January 15, 2008
Found dead in his LA apartment at age 25, cause of death still undetermined

Britney Spears is amazing! She has put a restraining order against Adnan Ghalib.Britney Spears has expressed disappointment and anger toward Adnan for being “set up” in photographs that Adnan and his agency have sold of Britney and Adnan together.
"Honestly, it’s about time that she did something about him. It was so obvious that Adnan was only around for the money and fame that he could get off of her."

Adnan Ghalib Finally Speaks Out Against Britney Spears
There is official word from Adnan Ghalib about what Britney Spears‘ restraining order on him.

" All I can say is that I have not been in contact with Britney since early Friday morning.
The reason being, that I have had to attend a family funeral in Santa Barbara. My phone has been off during this time out of respect for my family. I am only now becoming aware of what is being said. I hope to be back home in Los Angeles soon and to be in contact with Miss Spears."



Britney Spears has dumped Adnan Ghalib after finding out he hoped to make $10 million from pictures of her. If it took her almost a month to figure that one out, then she’s crazier than originally thought. The singer finally woke up after being shown proof Adnan was tipping off his agency pals on their whereabouts to bag exclusive pictures priced at $500,000 for a set. Friends of Adnan claimed the photog also planned to fake a kidnap by snatching him and then demanding $4 million.

Holly Madison's dreams of having a baby Hef are closer than ever! The 'Girls Next Door' cutie and Hugh Hefner were spotted at the office of a Beverly Hills gynecologist who specializes in vitro fertilization.

Holly's rep had previously said, “Holly is not pregnant, although she would like to be in the near future.” While in Monaco, Holly told reporters, "I want to have kids with Hef in the next year or so. When that happens, I just want it to be me and him."




The Playboy boss - who already has four children from two previous marriages - is considering starting a family with one of his three live-in girlfriends, Playboy Playmate Holly Madison, 27.

He told the New York Daily News newspaper: "I wouldn't say that there's a plan, but there has certainly been a conversation. I think if I say it will probably happen that would be an overstatement, but it is a very real possibility. Olga Kurylenko - New "Bond girl"!!!

In the secretive world of movie spy James Bond, the "Bond girl" for the new installment in the movie series had been top secret, but on Monday Bond's backers said Ukrainian bombshell Olga Kurylenko is the actress.



Early reports had actress Gemma Arterton as the new Bond girl, but even though Arterton has a role in the new film it is not as large as Kurylenko's, said a source close to the film.

The Ukrainian actress joins a long list of leading ladies to be cast alongside the super spy including Ursula Andress in "Dr No," Halle Berry, Kim Basinger and most recently Eva Green in "Casino Royale," which grossed nearly $600 million in worldwide ticket sales.



In the past, being a "Bond girl" has given actresses massive exposure and launched lucrative careers.

A former model, Kurylenko was most recently seen alongside Timothy Olyphant in last November's "Hitman."
